Is Jiu-Jitsu considered fighting?
Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ; /dʒuːˈdʒɪtsuː/; Portuguese: [ˈʒiw ˈʒitsu], [ˈʒu ˈʒitsu], jiu-jitsu brasileiro) is a martial art and combat sport based on ground fighting (ne-waza) and submission holds.
Is BJJ safer than kickboxing?
Although this may seem dangerous, this is much safer than punching or kicking someone. BJJ nets and BJJ joint locks do not easily cause physical injuries like punches or kicks when properly applied.
